This article is demo content offering general information about commercial refrigeration maintenance. It is not a service schedule or maintenance instruction for a particular product.
Begin with observation
Noting whether room conditions remain within the expected range, checking controller alerts and watching for unusual noise or vibration can help identify changes early. Door closure, seal condition and clear air outlets are also useful points for routine observation.
Cleaning and airflow
Dust and dirt that obstruct airflow around condensers and evaporators can change equipment operating conditions. Choose cleaning methods from the equipment instructions; do not work on electrical sections, moving parts or pressurised refrigerant circuits. Drain lines and filters should also be checked using suitable procedures.
Records and qualified service
Recording alarms, temperatures, run hours and interventions can make recurring issues easier to see. Work on refrigerant circuits and electrical components should be carried out by qualified and authorised technical staff. Maintenance intervals depend on manufacturer instructions, operating intensity and site conditions.
