Apricot Cooling and Storage Guide
ARRICOT COOLING AND STORAGE GUIDE

Apricots hold at 0–2 °C, and that range has to be reached as soon after harvest as the operation allows. Removing the field heat — pre-cooling — is not a negotiable step with this fruit. A consignment that skipped it will look sound when the container doors open, but its shelf life was spent on the road. Proof matters as much as practice. When loading temperature, container set point and in-transit readings can all be handed to the buyer as records, the consignment is accepted without argument.
